My theory is based on meeting him personally.

I think he finally came to terms with several addictions. And his treatment that he is in now advises him not to take part in surroundings that cause him aniexty.

He as mentioned many times that he has tried to quit, or have cut back on drinking. And as we all know, drinking and gambling does not mix.

If you do it, both that is, sooner or later it will catch up to you.

In any event, whatever the reason, I wish Fish the best, and hope he is doing well.

For whatever the reason you leaving is, here's to you buddy:toast: .

Nice meeting you for the short time that I did. We never did get to meet and talk about the tax breaks and other advantages we posted about on here. Maybe we will meet up in the future.

Lets just say any of that were true. (I dont agree that it is.)

Is it cool of you to try and put him out there like that?

Surely if it was "Nice meeting you" as you state, you could be a little more kind.

Enjoy the discussion in the rubber room.

Put him out like what? What so bad about doing right by him, and moving on?

There are many probably wondering. I think my reasoning is more legit than some one stating he had beef with the RX.

I can see you reasoning for moving this to the RR, but my intent was not to bash Fish in any way, and if he is reading this, he knows that.

Take care Rob,

Didn't think of that, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit now that you mention it.

Regardless, I wish him the best. His reasons for leaving are his own and I respect his privacy.

For the record there was nothing sinister and no deep dark secret why Fish gave up moderating here at The Rx and apparrentely posting in general. Bottom line he is not able to live the life he once had gamblimg wise because of the limitations placed on his style of play and is pursuing a different more conventional means in which to make a living.

In plain in English he got a real job.

What limitations placed on his style of play? I thought his style
involved, at least in part, scalping, middling, gaining advantages
through offers at the Matchbook exchange, capping & following
the Piny leans like he taught Iceman to do. Iceman, btw, is
talking about going FT at this, but his Yoda retires? Did some
books boot or limit him?

Sorry, but I lost all respect for Fish when I went down to Tampa for the Lightning-Penguins game, was supposed to meet up with him, and he never showed up. Spent an hour and a half waiting at that NYPD Pizza place for him and he never came. No call, no I'm sorry e-mail the next day, no anything. I got to Tampa 4 hours in advance in order to meet up with Fish and for him to blow me off like that is terribly disrespectful.

Damn, that's so fucked up.

I've met Fish twice, both times at the Bash, and I've had an awesome time hanging out with him briefly both times. That doesn't seem like something he'd do...

He needs to get his ass in here and explain, cuz that's really fucked up of him, and out of character as far as I can tell.

Sorry to hear that, Hines. Inconsiderateness is probably my biggest pet peeve...I take that shit real seriously. So this is disappointing to hear, to say the least. Hopefully Fish has a good explanation for it.

Funny thing is, I was thinking about a Mussina avatar a few hours ago.
